Biological Soil Assessment

Quantitative analysis of soil life. A certified lab tech qualified through the Soil Food Web School will complete an analysis on your sample and send you a written report. The report will include (for each sample): nematode scan, bacterial count, flagellates, amoeba, ciliates, fungal hyphae, actinobacteria. The nematodes will be identified by their functional groups. Biomass will be assessed for bacteria and fungi per gram of sample.

This assessment can also be used on compost extract or compost tea. It would simply be assessed per mL of sample instead of per gram.

Soil Sampling
